Safety – a responsibility of the parents
The traffic in the street is based on the social behaviour of all actors - everyone is individually responsible. There were 300,000 accidents with bodily injuries on the streets of Germany in 2008, 30,000 of them were injured children. This shows that something needs to be done. For children under 6 years of age, driving in the car is the most dangerous way to participate in street traffic! Around 60 percent of the children injured in traffic accidents are injured as car passengers. Frequently, because car seats were not used at all or the ones that were used were not suitable. Parents have a constant safety responsibility with respect to their children. Children should always be transported in car seats – most preferably in combination with the SleepFIX pillow by Osann.
