Osann Company History
Osann has been outfitting kids for over 3 decades. The start of the exciting and successful company history was the sale and the active development work on the Maxi-Cosi, the "Original Baby Car Carrier". Strengthened by the great success Osann began development and production of its own child car seats, known to this day as the safety product line.
In addition to its own developments, Osann has earned an excellent international reputation as an importer and service provider for the market introduction of famous, globally active brands in the baby sector, such as OKBaby, Graco, Maxi-Cosi, Klippan, Safety 1st, Samsonite, Kaboost and Ferrari baby items.
The starting signal for the Osann brand name came in 2002. Since then, according to the strict ideals of the Osann philosophy, high-quality yet affordable baby and toddler items have been developed, produced and accepted into the Osann brand family. Our "Osann Drive SP" child car seat was the first in its price range to be assessed as RECOMMENDED by the ÖAMTC and TCS automobile clubs; in 2009, they gave the BeOne SP the rating "good". During our brand relaunch in 2008, we dropped the "Kindersicherheit mit Komfort" (KMK, “Child safety with comfort”). Since then, the company has been operating as Osann GmbH.
37 employees are continuously developing new ideas at our headquarters in Gottmadingen on Lake Constance, and selling our product line across Europe. In addition to our mail order business and the many stores with specialty departments, over 1000 businesses all over Europe also sell our high-quality products.
